We Apologise for the Inconvenience is a one-act play by Mark Griffiths, first performed in Manchester in 2017. In early 2019, I was asked to provide artwork and layout design for a limited vinyl release of the play starring the original cast.
It's 1984 and Hitchhiker's Guide author Douglas Adams is late delivering the manuscript of his latest book. Really, really late. So late, in fact, that his editor has locked him in a hotel suite and is refusing to let him leave until the book is finished. Hiding in the bath (his natural habitat) Douglas finds a universe of distractions to prevent him meeting his deadline. But then his yellow plastic duck suddenly begins to talk...
